The Nursery Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of a nursery, including plant care, inventory management. This role involves managing a team of nursery workers, ensuring that plants are healthy and well-maintained, and providing expert advice to customers on plant selection and care. The Nursery Manager must have a strong knowledge of plants, including their needs, diseases, and pests, in order to maintain a successful nursery business.

The Nursery Landscape Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of efficient processes throughout the Nursery Grounds. They must be able to plan for daily operations and crew assignments. Language cannot be a barrier for communication. The Candidate must be bi-lingual. They must ensure all processes and procedures meet and or exceed all regulatory requirements and that they are conducted in a safe and effective manner. Working knowledge of Growing ornamental crops and Integrated Pest Management best practices. Work with crews, growers, and management on aspects of Crop Inventory management and Job Preparation for landscape installation crews.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture, Plant Science, Entomology or related field preferred and/or 2 years experience.
- Ability to follow Protocols·
- Ability to manage multiple tasks; Time Management·
- Ability to work independently·
- Ability to accurately gather and record data·
- Ability/Tolerance to work outdoors in a greenhouse environment or in the field in weather year-round.
- Ability to work extended hours when needed.

- Computer friendly and quick to learn and adapt to software.
- Team player and willingness to work together to achieve common goals.
