Build long-term productive partnerships based on mutual benefits. Initiate and assist in managing important business relationships for the benefit of TNLA.
Responsible for coordinating, maintaining and disseminating information pertinent to exhibitors exhibiting or sponsoring at the Nursery/Landscape Expo & Product Rodeo. Could include advertising sales in TNLA publications and electronic media.
Sell exhibit booths throughout the year.
Assist in the maintenance of all exhibitor records; adds, cancels, record activity, etc.
Assist with prospect lists for attendees and exhibitors.
Assist with Exhibitor Sponsorships.
Coordinate and implement the Product Showcase area.
Assist with Booth Sales during the trade show.
Sell TNLA membership.
Establish a personal monthly sales strategy with Director, Exhibit Sales.
Track activity through database software in order to identify success and trouble areas.
Update assigned Expo information on the TNLA and Expo websites and mobile app
Mail - Meter own outgoing EXPO mail and coordinate as necessary mail house mailings and post office runs.
Create and send exhibitor surveys/recap Expo post-event evaluations and surveys
Other duties as assigned.
1 Year of Professional Work Experience or College Degree Required
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to make presentations to groups.
Ability to work with a team.
Sales experience a must
Software competencies – Microsoft Office suite, database use exposure
College degree or related experience. One to three years of related experience.
