Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm

Saturdays 7:00am – 3:00 pm as needed

 

Position Overview: Silver Creek Materials is seeking a Customer Service Representative with a can-do spirit and a servant's heart to assist customers with their landscaping, recycling, mining and aggregate needs.

 

Position Key Responsibilities:

  • Prompt customer service and response to customer or management needs.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers and team members.
  • Cash and credit card handling.
  • Direct customers in a detailed, clear, and courteous manner.
  • Learn product placement and recycling areas to clearly direct customers.
  • Place orders for delivery.
  • Minimize errors through proper communication with customers and other departments.
  • Communicating clearly with loaders, dispatchers, and supervisors over multiple forms of communication. (radios, email, phone, instant messaging).
  • Recommend the correct material for the customers project needs.
  • Ensure a safe environment for customers and team members.
  • Obtain detailed information from the customer for proper billing and delivery instructions.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.

 

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivating with a strong work ethic to exceed company and personal goals.
  • Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions as needed.
  • Experience using a Point of Sales System in a retail environment preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • May be required to walk on uneven surfaces and inspect loads in dump trucks
  • Valid Driver’s License preferred.
  • Must comply with background check and Drug-free Workplace Policy
  • Ability to perform limited physical tasks, including lifting up to 25lbs.
