Position Summary:

We are looking for an organized and customer-oriented Tree Farm Operations Coordinator to oversee inventory management, supervise the shipping and delivery of trees, manage incoming deliveries, and maintain communication with our wholesale clientele. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in nursery or agricultural operations, and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records for our container-grown trees, ensuring stock levels align with orders and delivery schedules.
• Supervise professional delivery of trees to wholesale clients.
• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries of nursery supplies, equipment, and plant material, verifying quality and accuracy.
• Communicate with wholesale customers (landscapers, nurseries, contractors) via phone, email, or in person to provide order updates, answer inquiries about tree availability and delivery, and ensure outstanding service.
• Collaborate with farm management and staff to prioritize tasks and meet client deadlines.
• Assist in preparing trees for shipping and conducting quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of inventory, shipping schedules, and customer interactions.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or nursery/agricultural operations.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency with common computer software.
• Knowledge of tree species or nursery operations is advantageous.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in horticulture or logistics is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in coordinating shipping or logistics, particularly in agricultural or nursery settings.
• Familiarity with container-grown tree production or nursery management.
• Basic knowledge of tree care best practices.
